What kind of leader would you be if you were as proactive about your family as you are your career?

As a trained and experienced coach, speaker, and facilitator, I invite organizations and families into the idea that world-changing leadership begins at home.

My passion for this idea was sparked from my own story as a mom and military spouse to a now-retired Air Force One pilot, having to creatively advocate for and build my career amid multiple moves, deployments, and uncertainty – and nearly going through a painful divorce in 2019.

Years of transformational work with my husband and family have proven time and again that the most powerful leadership development program that exists is the one you take on with your family. So often, we value identity, vision, values and strategy work in our organizations – and yet we overlook the power of these same guiding principles in our families.

Over the last 20 years, I’ve led strategic and transformational initiatives as a journalist, storyteller, and lead facilitator for some of the most well-known nonprofits, companies, and government agencies – including World Vision, USAID, the Department of Homeland Security, and the National Cancer Institute.

In 2021, I founded Renala to provide immersive experiences, playful retreats, and Strengths coaching to couples and families. Renala’s experiential approaches like Living Room Leadership™ and Yes Week™ help families better understand and relate to one another and develop a vision, purpose, values, and identity for their family.

A certified transformational coach, CliftonStrengths strategist, and LEGO SERIOUS PLAY certified facilitator, I also equip organizations with the tools they need to invest in their leaders’ families as a means for rapidly and sustainably growing their current and future leadership.
