Jon ThurmanJon Thurman is a Partner at Westbrook Service Corporation. Jon has most recently transitioned out as CEO at Westbrook having brought in the next level leader allowing the Company to continue on as a privately-held, customer-centric service provider to the Central Florida marketplace. Westbrook serves the commercial and residential marketplace through a multi-discipline service offering of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Gas and Construction Services.

More importantly, over the last twelve years Jon has leveraged Westbrook as a platform to engage others as he has lived out what he fondly refers to as The Ministry of Availability (MOA). In its simplest form the MOA is an intentional design to be available to meet with others for the sole purpose of encouraging them right where they are. Jon has been used to help hundreds of people, mostly men, navigate the complexities of their life journeys as they become more of the person they have been uniquely created to be.

Jon is a true Florida native; married to Cindy and dad to Carly and Chris. He is a member of the Lifework Leadership-Orlando Board of Advisors and serves in an on-going capacity as a leadership coach and regular speaker as well. Additionally, Jon serves in a strategic advisory and mentoring role for senior leaders/owners in several privately-held businesses.

Jon’s talk is titled: “Sonspots…a Journey to Your “Whoness”. Life tends to tell us that our “whoness” should be found in our “whatness.” In other words, we should find our identity in the things we do, like our work, instead of the person we are becoming. Can you relate? The truth is our “whoness” is a lifelong journey to discover the very person God has designed us to be as we seek to live out our discoveries in the context of where He has placed us. Join us as we hear one man’s journey to his “whoness”…so far.
